These processes remove excess material from pieces, by ways of sandblasting (see separate sheet) or the use of mechanical utensiles (disks, brushes etc.).
Filtration in this application has to evaluate the following specific parameters:
- air charged with medium/high volumes of powder with medium/fine particle size
- possible presence of residues at high temperature
- as to the pieces worked:
- chemical composites of various nature (eventually irritant/toxic)
- presence of electrostatic charges (especially when working plastic materials)
- presence of greasy/ oily or humid residues |
